PNRMS logo ideas

pacific northwest resource management school asked me to create a logo for them (pro bono)... the only direction... use the great blue heron...

since they have approved a final logo... here is what i came up with as a first draft... i will post the final version soon...

i've enabled the critique tool... it's a feature i've wanted to try... real, genuine opinions will always be respected...

+ my design skin is thicker than my comic skin since i've been working in the design field for 15 years (wow, i'm getting old)... let's have some fun...
